Ibukun Sunday is a Lagos based composer and violist who has expertly positioned himself between the rarely-married cultures of ambient music and West African musics. He entwines his compositions with field recordings and also experimental on ambient music and improvisation from his native Nigeria and deeply considered philosophies of existence, humanity and apocalypse. Ibukun continually seeking and creating an atmosphere where his skills and potentials will be maximally utilized, improving the quality of lives and positively influencing the productivity of his audience.
