Trained at the Rwanda School of Creative Arts and Music in Muhanga, Éric Hakizimana aka Rud Bass (b. 2004) is a talented double-bass player based in Kigali.

His recent contributions include successful musical projects such as Bruce Melodie’s album Colourful Generation and Isango na Musika Award Ceremony in 2024.

umuko is his first collaboration with Dorothée Munyaneza and marks his debut on international stages.
